Creativity is key to ARTHUR TANG who began his journey toward excellence and discovered a whole new way of rethinking the art of interior design.

Arthur Tang started off as a freelancer with his friend and noticed that there was something missing in the industry. “This led me to start up my own company – Artta Concept Studio. I wanted to create a platform that fills in these missing parts of the interior industry, a company that provides professional services with a better system to execute design,” says Tang.

“We have worked on a number of various projects around Hong Kong and now we are currently developing projects in China, in areas such as Shenzhen, Hangzhou, Wuhan and Shanghai. We are challenging ourselves by working on larger-scale projects for cinema design.

“We don’t just design the look on a project. We design the ‘project’. We seek the best opportunities for each of our designs economically through to marketing. We specialise our projects with a tailor-fit branding experience for our clients. Our designs are unique and bring with them a certain level of style and character.

Furthermore, we are a one-stop solution design firm. We will take care of our clients from the start of the process till the very end. We work with experienced partnerships of architects, structural engineers, E&M engineer, licensing consultants and builders to ensure that each project is run smoothly and finished within the deadline.”

The greatest challenge, according to Tang, is gaining confidence from new clients, for them to agree and trust our designers. “As the industry is ever growing, we hope to be better and different from everyone else. My philosophy is to always improve yourself, always believe that tomorrow will be better than yesterday. Also remember to never be in the safety zone, live life on the edge and push boundaries. That’s the only path to excellence. We have also to mind ourselves that success is never to be taken for granted. It is a journey, not a destination. One has to constantly strive to give customers added value. We are part of an ever evolving, fiercely competitive industry and we are all serving one of Asia’s most sophisticated and demanding markets. Customers today are more aware of the quality on offer and the options available to them and the trends in the market, thanks to the Internet.
