How to achieve a clear skin complexion amid the holiday season? After we glam it up for the festival, it is important to remove all your makeup before bed as we all know it is one of the essential steps of the skincare regimen.

FACE HALO has just launched on 22nd May 2017! This plushy, circular microfiber disk is endorsed by Naomi Watts, Chloe Morello and many more beauty bloggers. Now that I have tried it, and I have been blown away by such a revolutionary product.

I put the face halo into test after I attended our publication’s biggest annual event – Hong Kong’s Most Valuable Companies Award. I had a full face of make up on, included glittery eyeshadow and waterproof mascara, the hardest make up to remove of all.  First, I opened the package and there is an instruction card with Chloe Morello at the back. I followed the instruction, which is quite easy and clear, as there is just TWO steps to it. Just wet the pad and gently work it in circular motions on the face. It is supposed to dislodge the makeup and the dirt trapped in your pores while the water works as the solvent and breaks down the makeup.

The face halo is so soft and plush that it feels like a little cloud and its satin edging makes it very safe to use around the more delicate area, especially the eyes. The intertwined HaloTech microfibers of the Face Halo are 100 times finer than human hair, so it can reach down into the pores to scoop out the dirt. With just gentle wipes, the face halo erase all my makeup like magic, even the glitter eyeshadow and waterproof mascara.

Not only the Face Halo excels as a makeup remover, more importantly it is chemical-free and environmentally-conscious. I bet not many of you know that the ordinary makeup wipes that we use every day take up to 100 years to degrade in the landfill. And the traditional makeup wipes are for one-time use only while the Face Halo can be used repeatedly to around 200 times.

Overall, I will rate the Face Halo 5 out of 5 for its efficiency and reusability. The Face Halo is perfect for those who have sensitive skin and environmentally-conscious. Also, it would be a perfect solution for long-haul traveling or just a weekend getaway. It barely takes up any space in your luggage and there is no need to pack an extra bottle of micellar water.

The FACE HALO ($180 per pack) can be found at Lane Crawford in Hong Kong or online at facehalo.com.
