Kong says: “We’re not a fitness center or gym room but an online platform that provides the best fitness training centers and trainers in Hong Kong. We don’t have any membership or group training, but only focus on one-on-one personal training. Other than fitness training, we also provide physical and manual therapy as well as sports massage; which there has no similar business module in Hong Kong as of now.”

“Now we’ve 15 venues and 40 trainers, we will extend to 18-20 venues and 60-80 trainers by 2018. We are actually building up our brand as a healthy platform rather than only fitness or personal training, and that’s why we partner with different industries like clinic, beauty, lab etc., that are related to healthy lifestyle.

Speaking of hurdles to this concept he says: “Prepay purchase is always sensitive and something people are afraid of; and thus, we created a cooling off period in order to ensure our service promise.”

He admits that he has a long way to go before claiming to be a huge success and says, “No excuse, nothing is impossible! You can’t because you’ve never try!”.

Seeing as most startups have their eye on China eventually and fitness has a huge market in China, Kong is pragmatic about China expansion.

“China always has a lot opportunity for most industries. For sure Greater China is the region that we’d like to develop, but now we’ll more focus on Hong Kong first to ensure our business stabilizes and well known in the general public.”
