Dr. Matthew Man, Founder of Myndar

“Our customers are as diverse as Chow Tai Fook, Bvlgari, the Hong Kong Hospital Authority, the MTR, and so on because our solutions are geared towards delivering a smart ecosystem which makes essential industry tasks easier, faster, more efficient and more reliable,” says Dr. Man.

According to Dr. Man, the global COVID-19 pandemic has changed the landscape of the healthcare industry as we are seeing situations where hospitals are operating at full or near-full capacity, therefore it is important to implement solutions that are geared towards preventing staff from having to do tasks that are tedious and repetitive, so they can focus on their main roles. This is where Myndar’s technology comes in, as the company has been producing a range of applications for pharmacy operations, operation theaters, wards, logistics, RTLS (Real-Time Location System), and so on.

“When the Hong Kong Hospital Authority began its Smart Hospital initiatives a few years ago, we saw an opportunity for Myndar to define a new strategy for Healthcare 4.0, based on the success of our Industry 4.0 solution in many business and industry sectors,” says. Dr. Man

“We developed new applications to support a range of non-clinical activities inside hospitals to ease workloads, speeding up processes, eliminating errors, and releasing nursing staff from tedious and repetitive tasks, which in turn allowed them to focus on their primary role of patient care,” – Dr. Matthew Man

Healthcare 4.0 features multiple applications under one infrastructure ranging from Digitization to Automation, Unified Digital Networks, and New Processes & New Applications. Based on these pillars Myndar can identify many operational pain points which could be eased with new wireless technologies that are readily available in the market today.

“We developed new applications to support a range of non-clinical activities inside hospitals to ease workloads, speeding up processes, eliminating errors, and releasing nursing staff from tedious and repetitive tasks, which in turn allowed them to focus on their primary role of patient care,” Dr. Man continues.

“In 2023 we will be expanding our MyndNET solution to cover clinical solutions. This will help all 3rd party medical devices to be integrated into the backend applications of hospitals via our support in digitization and data management, and our open platform and open protocol,” concludes Dr. Man

The Mediazone Group congratulated Myndar on being a winner of the 2022 Most Valuable Companies in Hong Kong Award. We wish the company more success in its growth and endeavour.
