Having stood the tests of time Kiddikraft Learning Centre celebrates 25 years of developing children’s English language skills. Jacqui Kwan and Sherina Harilela, Directors of KLC, share how their passion for teaching results in the countless success of our future generation.

Founded in 1997, Kiddikraft Learning Centre (KLC) was primarily set up as an arts and crafts hub for young children. It quickly evolved and became the first centre in Hong Kong to offer an English language playgroup. Today, with two campuses across Kowloon and Hong Kong, KLC provides high-quality English classes to local and international school students ranging from eight months to twelve years of age. Over the years, the centre has built a reputation for its innovative approach to English language education.

“We inspire students to realise their full potential so we have a very hands-on approach to teaching. On top of that, our programs are also designed to improve the mental health of kids,” says Jacqui Kwan Director and Founder of Kiddikraft Learning Centre.

KLC offers a wide range of programmes including playgroup, phonics, Cambridge English, Art of Writing, Speech coaching and interview preparation classes. For over 25 years, the centre has been at the forefront of enhancing student performance in reading, writing and speaking. KLC’s goal is to help strengthen English skills in order for children to excel in school and beyond.

“Teaching is not just a job for us. It is our way of helping to create a community of thinkers and independent learners,” says Sherina Harilela, Director and Principal of Kiddikraft Learning Centre.

In 2021, Kiddikraft Learning Centre was awarded the Hong Kong’s Most Outstanding Business Award for Best English Language Education Centre in Hong Kong. Throughout the centre’s 25-year history, many students have gone on to graduate from top universities in the U.S, England, Australia and Canada.
