A-Star International Tutoring Limited has been a learning centre par excellence with a unique blend of innovation and support for students in their learning journey.

Since its inception in 2012, A-Star has striven to offer the best learning experience to its students to realise their academic goals. The learning centre has been able to achieve this by providing services to students across all schools in Hong Kong irrespective of the curriculum. Students from local schools, international schools, boarding schools and also home-schooled students and students opting to take International Advanced Levels (IAL) as private candidates have found learning support from our qualified and experienced teachers.

A highly experienced team of teachers support and prepare students for I/GCSE (Pearson and Cambridge), IAL, IBDP and MYP and University admissions including S/SAT, TOEFL, IELTS and Pearson Academic.

The learning centre has also provided a lot of support to students during the difficult academic years of 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 to ensure that students remain on top of their course work. A-Star is proud that all its students were accepted by senior high schools and universities. Additionally, the learning centre communicated with students’ universities / boarding schools in the UK to accept reference letters and predicted grades offered by private learning centres like A-Star’s in view of the cancellation of exams by the Examination Boards such as Pearson, Cambridge and IB due to Covid-19 pandemic.

The brand’s IB-certified teachers developed unique methodologies to teach IBDP subject Theory of Knowledge both in English and Chinese to support its students besides assisting them with Extended Essays and internal assessment exams of different subjects. Teaching is done on a 1:1 basis focussing complete attention on the academic success of the students. A-Star is proud to make valuable contributions to students, many of which join their learning centre in middle school and then continue till they join senior high school in the UK or move on to the university.
