This strategic redirection, as articulated by the Secretary for Health, aims to optimize resource allocation and encourage the general public to seek primary healthcare services from community family doctors, many of whom operate within the private sector. The implication of this reform is clear: for many Hong Kong residents, accessing timely and comprehensive outpatient care will increasingly depend on private healthcare providers.

Its members lead initiatives such as the Bio-healthcare Expert Panel and Product Trial Panel, which facilitates the sharing of medical expertise and the trial of innovative products among doctors. This forward-thinking approach not only fosters innovation and progress but also aligns seamlessly with WT Health’s mission to explore new opportunities in the medical field and continuously raise healthcare standards.
