Dr Aaron Shum, Chairman of Coronet who’s also known as HK’s diamond prince or HK’s 中東王子, made the first public announcement of the arrival of HK’s very first diamond museum at HKMVC’s 25th anniversary special event – Asia’s Most Valuable Companies in Hong Kong Forum.

Several days after this historic announcement, Jerone Chin, host of the forum led a select group of CEOs from the HKMVC Members and Partner Network for an exclusive private tour of the museum with Dr. Shum to get a glimpse of its 10 Guiness World Records showcase. Some of the featured exhibits the group saw included:
– The world’s most valuable guitar (valued at USD2,000,000)
– A Coca Cola designed handbag with 9,888 diamonds (the most diamonds set on a handbag)
– The world’s most valuable golf club (valued at USD318,618)
– A toilet seat with 40,815 diamonds (the most diamonds set on a toilet seat) and more!

The Mediazone Group would like to congratulate Dr. Shum on this valuable achievement and contribution to Hong Kong. We look forward to the official grand opening of Hong Kong’s first diamond museum soon as this will indeed be a historic milestone for our beloved city and its people.
