Avery Music Therapy’s Founder, Mr. Avery Yeung, and Marketing Director, Ms. Michelle Hui made the first public announcement of the arrival of HK’s first music therapy program at HKMVC’s 25th anniversary special event – Asia’s Most Valuable Companies in Hong Kong Forum. 

During their presentation, Avery and Michelle, elaborated on Avery Music Institute’s (AMI’s) comprehensive approach to music. Mr. Yeung, with his extensive background in music performance, education, and event coordination, introduced AMI’s core services, which include professional music training, certified music therapy, and premium music facilities.

Ms. Hui further detailed how AMI’s evidence-based music therapy services, a practice with thousands of years of history, contribute significantly to improving mental health and fostering personal growth. She highlighted its effectiveness in addressing various psychological, emotional, and physical needs, such as alleviating symptoms of dementia, depression, ADHD, and anxiety, particularly emphasizing its growing importance in Hong Kong due to the mental health crisis and an aging population. The team also outlined AMI’s future plans, including new courses, collaborations with schools for holistic development, and the integration of AI with music therapy.
